How Can You Get Involved?
Become an Ambassador
  1.  Sign up as an NPCF Ambassador to receive notifications about new projects, updates, and support for HOSA members.
  2. Download and utilize digital resources from the NPCF webpage.
  3. Coordinate community outreach: ask your school, local businesses or organizations, and other institutions if you can host an event, speak, or post flyers to raise awareness. 
 
Organize a Fundraiser
  1. Walking/Running Funds the Cure: ask community members to make donations based on the number of miles you walk or run!
  2. Cut and/or Color for a Cure: raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research by changing your hairstyle!
  3. Playing Funds the Cure: have fun raising money by organizing a chess competition, corn-hole game, go-karting challenge, or any type of competitive sporting event!
  4. Fishing Funds the Cure: challenge community members to donate based on the weight, size, or quantity of your catch!
  5. Cooking Funds the Cure: organize tasty community meals or hold cooking competitions! Pizza challenges, bake-offs, pancake breakfasts, BBQs . . . the possibilities are endless!
  6. Fashion Funds the Cure: organize and create your own fashion event or host an event with a featured artist! 
Pursue Career Development Opportunities
  1. Conduct career visits with NPCF partner healthcare sites
  2. Shadow a pediatric cancer professional
  3. Visit and/or shadow with APHON nurses
  4. Apply for an internship at the NPCF headquarters in Tampa, Florida
  5. Apply for a virtual internship on the NPCF National Marketing Committee
  6. Apply for a virtual internship on the NPCF National Fundraising Committee
  7. Pursue national and/or local special event opportunities
