Invest Your Time With HOSA
Judge a Competitive Event
Wisconsin HOSA holds annual Regional and State competitions in February and April, respectively. Judges and volunteers make these competitions possible. Investing your time as a judge is a great opportunity to observe students in action. Judging provides an unparalleled opportunity to see future health leaders in action. Witnessing first-hand as students apply classroom learning and demonstrate months of preparation through competition is well worth the investment.
Exhibitor and Present at the State Leadership Conference
An integral portion of Wisconsin HOSA’s annual State Leadership Conference (SLC) is offering a broad range of workshops and exhibits. To encompass the interprofessional nature of our 850+ SLC attendees, we aim to provide several engaging breakout sessions and opportunities for our members to network throughout the conference.
In addition to workshops, we are bringing back an extremely popular event to SLC 2020: the Wisconsin HOSA Expo. At the Health Expo, we are inviting several educational, non-profit, and professional organizations to set-up information tables. These tables provide students with information on the many health opportunities right here in Wisconsin. Further, they provide avenues for direct communication between the organizations and HOSA members.
If you are interested in presenting a workshop and/or having a booth at the HOSA Expo, please fill out the following form(s)and Wisconsin HOSA will be in contact with you!
**Please note that you can both judge and present at the conference!
Keep Engaged...Participate on the HOSA Partnership Council!
Last year, Wisconsin HOSA launched the HOSA Partnership Council. This council will be comprised of partners from the health community who recognize the value of HOSA, believe in its mission, and wish to be involved in the organization on a consistent basis. The purpose of the HOSA Partnership Council is to create a guiding board for and a consistent communication process for engagement opportunities with Wisconsin HOSA programming.
The time commitment for participating on the Partnership Council will be as follows:
Attend one virtual meeting (approximately 1 hour) on September 9th, 2019 at 9:00 am by invitation.
Attend the annual in-person meeting at the State Leadership Conference on April 6th, 2020.
Encouraged to participate in Fall Leadership Conferences, Regional Competitions, and/or local chapter events.
