Wisconsin HOSA Summer Leadership Academy (WLA)
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19 from 7:00-8:30 PM on ZOOM
LOCAL ADVISORS must complete and submit the sign-up form for members to participate. The form can be located in the HOSA Advisor Biweekly Email Updates. Members will receive an email with instructions to access the Zoom meeting link.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
This event is open to all current and prospective Wisconsin HOSA members and advisors, including new chapters just starting. The intended audience is for local chapter leaders/officers and their advisors. Topics offered will focus on leadership development, membership recruitment, chapter program of work, Standards or Excellence, chapter opportunities, advisor planning, and activities for 2026-2027 membership year.
FREE TO ATTEND
Chapters are encouraged to have their leadership team or local chapter officers and advisor(s) participate. There will be a calendar invitation and email with the Zoom link the week prior to the event. Chapters may attend together on one device or individually.
PROGRAM GOALS

Provide leadership development, service-learning recommendations, and inspiration to local chapter officers, to establish communication between state and local levels of student leadership, prepare local chapter officers with additional professional skills to better lead and represent HOSA and the state association within their local schools and communities

Provide leadership development and professional guidance to chapter advisors, particularly new chapter advisors, to further enhance their understanding of the various opportunities Wisconsin
