Alumni Membership 

Alumni Member 

Any student that is a HOSA member and graduating from high school or completing their postsecondary/collegiate program is eligible to become a HOSA Lifetime Alumni Member. The HOSA, Inc. Board of Directors has made this opportunity available FREE to help strengthen the organization and keep former members connected.

 

Membership provides the following benefits:

• Create professional networking opportunities
• Stay current with news through the HOSA E-Magazine and the Alumni Newsletter
• Conduct workshops
• Serve as judges at state and national leadership conferences
• Serve as a mentor to a HOSA member
• Be involved in state and national activities where needs exist

Postsecondary/Collegiate Member

The Postsecondary/Collegiate Division shall be composed of students who are not enrolled in high school, have received a high school diploma and/or are pursuing GED and are enrolled in a health care related field at the undergraduate level or are interested or planning to pursue a career in the health professions. 

Katie Freeman serves as the Post-Secondary/Collegiate State Advisor and is working closely with Travis Miller, VP of Postsecondary Division to further expand the Wisconsin HOSA Postsecondary/Collegiate Division and opportunities! 

For Alumni in Education: Consider affiliating as a post-secondary member of HOSA! Membership of this division provides you the ability to serve in state leadership positions, be eligible for scholarships, participate in competitive events, and more! If you college does not currently have a HOSA chapter reach out to contactus@wihosa.org and we would be glad to assist you in starting one!

Professional Member

The Professional Division shall be composed of persons who are associated with or participating in Health Science Education in professional capacities. These may include health professionals, alumni or other adult members of the community who wish to assist and support the HOSA program and its growth and development. Professional division members shall pay affiliation fees, but may not vote, make motions, hold office or compete in events.

For Alumni in Careers: Consider affiliating as a professional member of HOSA! Not sure how to become a professional member? If you are interested in mentoring a local HOSA chapter you can become an affiliated professional member at the local level through chartered chapter. If chapter mentorship is not of interest, there are several ways you can get involved on the state level and become an affiliated professional member of the state association.
