The Student Emergency Response Team prepares students to respond safely, confidently, and compassionately during emergencies while developing leadership, teamwork, and professional skills essential to healthcare and public safety careers.

No Registration Fee for 2026 - Transportation provided at local level

Why Start SERT?

1. Increase confidence and competency among students in emergency response situations while addressing EMS workforce shortages in rural areas of the state.

2. Enhance collaboration and networking among SERT participants and health professionals to increase awareness and interest in pursuing public safety and EMS related careers.

3. Gain measurable improvements in emergency preparedness within schools
